My Baby Girl is Finally Here!!!!!

Alyssa Grace Jacopelle was born April 11, 2009!! She was 4 days early. Shes even more perfect than I could ever imagine. She was born at 1:34pm on Saturday April 11th. She weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 20.5" long. I was woke up Friday night April 10th at 1:15am with contractions. They were mild so I didnt really think anything of it but started timing them, they were 5minutes apart. I timed contractions for an hour and a half then decided I better call my doctor. She told me to head up to the hospital and she'd meet me there. Labor wasnt progressing very quick at all I was still only 1cm dilated. Lynn gave me some pitocin to help move things along. I was in alot of pain from the contractions. I locked myself in the bathroom and told Mom and Brian sorry but I needed to be alone lol. I pretty much begged for my epidural. Finally the doctor came to put it in. While he was putting it in my back, my water broke,,, or maybe I should say EXPLODED. Holy crap!!!! Once they did my epidural I was in la la land and couldnt feel anymore contractions. Lynn measured me and I was 9cm dilated. She said if I felt the urge to push let her know. Even though I couldnt feel the contractions I could feel the pressure of the contractions and definetely felt the urge to push so thats what we did. Even though I had an epidural I still felt every bit of pushing her out. I pushed her out in 25minutes. I didnt think I could do it but obviously I did. I got to go home on Monday.
So far shes been a very well behaved baby she hardly cries unless shes hungry or has gas. She seems to always be hungry. I had to take her to the doctor today and they said shes up to 8 pounds when we left the hospital she weighed 7lbs so the little tubby is putting on weight quite quick, which is no suprise lol.
Well I will write more later just wanted to check in and write something because im slacking lol she'll be 2 weeks old tomorrow, its already flying by... so sad....

Sooooo much for going early I guess lol. I had my weekly Dr appt today , my doctor has been on vacation my last two weekly appointments so they want me to come back tomorrow so she can check me out and see where I am at. Im hoping to be dilated and she'll induce me lol. I feel fine no big complaints really well except for not being able to see my feet and the intense pelvic pressure but I have been dealing with that for months now. Brian and I want to get up to the hospital this weekend and do a tour of the hospital so we have a little better idea of where we are going when the time comes. They took me out of work March 19th so time seems to really be dragging. The rest of my pregnancy went pretty quick but this last month seems to be dragging, I think its just cuz I am sooooo excited and anxious to have my baby girl here. I keep thinking I will be in the hospital on Easter , I dont know why just a thought...... Hopefully I will have some exciting news after my appointment tomorrow.....

I just had my 4th shower on Sunday and now im done lol.. I think all the baby showers made me more anxious for Alyssa to arrive than I already was. We are all moved into our new place and today I finished setting up the babies nursery. Everything is set up,washed and put away. Alyssa has soooo many clothes that her drawers will barely close. Shes definitely spoiled and she has not even arrived yet. She has also already taken over the house, but thats ok we like it. Dr.Lynn took me out of work on Friday and I have to admit im loving every minute of it. Im doing good progressing along as I should be but she thought I would be more comfortable at home and also felt I need my rest. I can not sleep at night all im doing is tossing and turning AGAIN so me being able to stay home during the day is a blessing. Alyssa's diaper bag is all packed for the hospital and I put the car seat in the car today. On the other hand I haven't even begun to pack my back, I hate hospitals I think that's one reason im poking along with packing. The bigger reason I think is because I tend to wear my most comfy clothes these days and really cant part with them even if it is just for a few weeks. I am now seeing Dr.Lynn once a week, my next appt is on Thursday. This past Thursday she said my cervix is still closed but it is softening. So I guess im progressing along but of course not fast enough for me lol. Im not due until the 15th so I guess I just need to chill out and relax, I wouldn't want her to arrive too early anyways. Now that her room is put together I need to take some pics but haven't yet. Well I guess I will update more after my Dr. appt on Thursday

3D SONOGRAM........

Well I finally had my long waited 3d sono on Monday March 2nd. The sono was done at 33wks and 5days, she said the baby is measuring at 35 weeks and weighs 5lbs 12oz. They took ten pics total and in every one of them she had her hand either in her mouth or in front of her face, in some of them she had her hand and a foot in there. Everyone keeps asking me if that's hair in the pics but no its not hair its just a shadow lol. Brian and I just moved into our new place so now we have soooo much work to do to get the room and the rest of the house ready for our little girl.. Im very excited but also overwhelmed and impatient at the same time.

Here is a belly shot for ya .. Im 32 wks and 4 days. I have my 3D sono on Monday March 2nd so hopefully the little missy cooperates so we can really see what she's going to look like. I am really excited and anxious for the sonogram, I have been waiting for it since I found out I was pregnant ha ha . We are moving this weekend so hopefully not long after I will have Alyssas room all set up-you know the whole "nesting thing" My due date is exactly 7 weeks from today.....

Our New Home......

Im so excited. We're getting the apartment that we both really really wanted. I was freaking out because the add said no pets and we have two cats but we asked the guy last night and he was fine with it. We move in March 1st. My lease at my other apartment isnt up until April 1st but I didnt wanna wait until April to move seeings how im due in April. The apartment is in Cicero. Its really cute and really nice. The landlord put alot of time into making it look like it does. Theres cathedral ceilings and wood work all the way through. We even have our own little fireplace in the living room, so cute. Im so excited cant wait to move in and get settled.
